Sinossi
Un delizioso, minuscolo albo illustrato dedicato al mondo dei gatti, diversi tra loro, accomunati dal vivere sotto un unico tetto. È il mondo di Luì, fatto di tanti sconosciuti trovatelli e delle loro passioni. Dal rustico Amilcare con i suoi amici campagnoli, al pantofolaio Sigfrido, da Black il gatto ombra, ad Amleto che declama i suoi monologhi a teatro, a Sibilla che s’interroga sul destino dei pianeti o a Romeo, il gatto poeta, fino a Cleopatra, conquistatrice di nuvole, una carrellata di personaggi stilizzati con movenze feline, il fare sornione e la passione per Luì. Un albo da collezione, nelle tinte del rosso, nero e bianco. Ironia ed eleganza di testo e immagini.

Synopsis
A lovely, tiny picture book dedicated to the world of cats, different but united by the fact that they are living under the same bizarre roof. It is the world of Luì, made of many unknown foundling cats and their passions. From the rustic Amilcare with its peasant friends, to the stay-at-home Siegfried, from Black, the shadow cat, to Hamlet the cat that recites monologues in the theater, passing through Sibyl that has questions about the fate of the planets, Romeo the poet cat, and Cleopatra, conqueror of the clouds, we find a cast of stylized characters with feline movements, a sly attitude and a passion for Luì. This is a collector’s book, in red, black and white, that displays irony and elegance in its text and images.

Biografia  Valentina Rizzi
Valentina Rizzi è una drammaturga e teatroterapeuta. Le sue storie sono state rappresentate presso teatri, scuole ed ospedali di Roma, pubblicate da alcune tra le maggiori case editrici italiane (Feltrinelli, La coccinella, Edizioni Paoline). Il suo impegno artistico in favore dei diritti dei minori, le è valso il Premio Donna dell’Anno 2011. Nel 2013 vince un bando pubblico per raccontare storie in strada su di un tre ruote detto Bibliolibrò. Un anno dopo fonda la casa editrice Bibliolibrò e inizia a pubblicare suoi testi in Italia e all’estero. Il suo testo “Ora non più” pubblicato con la casa editrice Settenove, è un White Raven 2016.

Biography  Valentina Rizzi
Valentina Rizzi is a playwright and drama-therapist. Her stories have been performed in theatres, schools, squares and hospitals, published by some of the main important Italian Editors (Feltrinelli, La coccinella, Edizioni Paoline). In 2011, her artistic involvement for children's rights earned her Woman of the Year Award. On 2013 she wins a Public Contest to tell stories on the road with a three-wheel car named Bibliolibrò. One year later she creates Bibliolibrò’s Publisher House and she starts to publish her texts abroad. Her text “Not anymore”, illustrated by Marianna Coppo and published with Settenove Publisher, is a White Raven 2016.

Biografia  Luisella Zambon
Luisella Zambon nasce a Roma nel 1979. Appassionata di disegno fin da bambina frequenta, dopo la maturità scientifica, un primo corso di illustrazione presso la Scuola Internazionale di Comics. Realizza negli anni 2003-2005 scenografie per spettacoli teatrali per bambini come "Corallina e la paura di crescere". Di ritorno dal progetto Erasmus in Inghilterra (University for the Creative Arts - Maidstone), nel 2010 si diploma in Illustrazione e animazione multimediale presso l' Istituto Europeo di Design. Negli anni passati allo IED partecipa anche ad un  workshop con Svjetlan Junaković. Continua poi a seguire ancora oggi workshop di illustrazione (infanzia, gioiello, ecc.) tenuti da Barbara Brocchi. A fine 2010 nasce il progetto “i 44 gatti di Luì” con cui Luisella dà vita a creazioni sul tema dei gatti; Inizialmente disegnati su tela, i successivi lavori danno il via ad un vero e proprio brand, che spazia dai pupazzi alle ceramiche, per finire nelle originali tele. Nel 2016 “i 44 gatti di Luì” diventa un libro, illustrato da Luisella, scritto da Valentina Rizzi ed edito da Bilbiolibrò.

Biography  Luisella Zambon
Luisella Zambon was born in Rome in 1979. She immediately was into drawing and attended, after a scientific degree, a first illustration course at the International School of Comics. Between 2003 and 2005 she realized sets for theatrical performances for children as "Corallina e la paura di crescere”. Upon her return from an Erasmus project in England (University for the Creative Arts - Maidstone), in 2010 she graduated in illustration and multimedia animation at the European Institute of Design.  During the years spent in the IED she also participated in a workshop with Svjetlan Junakovic. She is still following several workshops (illustration for children, jewel, etc.)  with Barbara Brocchi. At the end of 2010 she starts with her project “The 44 cats of Luì”. She began with paintings and then she started to create her own personal brand of dummies and pottery, always based on the theme cats. In 2016, “The 44 cats of Luì” become a complete story, illustrated by Luisella, written by Valentina Rizzi and published by Bibliolibrò.
