Sinossi
Cosa ci fa un branco di “ciucci” in mare, tra sirene, pesci e marinai? È ora per Capitan Ciuccio di battere in ritirata. Stufo di avere la bocca piena e di parlare in modo buffo e strampalato, decide di lasciare il tesoro agli avversari. Divertente avventura di pirati, adatta per facilitare i bambini nel primo importante passo di togliere il ciuccio dalla bocca. Immagini essenziali, colori vivaci e giochi di forme impreziosiscono il testo rendendolo molto adatto per i bambini della prima infanzia. La ripetitività del testo rassicura i bambini e il aiuta a memorizzare le fasi della storia, che resta maggiormente impressa. Il breve testo vuol essere solo una traccia, un avvio che permette al genitore ed al bambino di giocare assieme ad arricchire la storia di particolari, a partire dalla centralità del ciuccio nelle immagini proposte.

Synopsis
What is a bunch of “dummies” doing in the sea, among mermaids, fishes and sailors? It’s time for Captain Dummy to retreat. Tired of having his mouth full and of speaking in a funny way, he decides to leave his treasure to his opponents. This book is a funny pirate adventure, useful to help the children in the first major step to get rid of the pacifier. Vivid colors and shapes games enrich the text, making it very suitable for children of early childhood.
The repetition of the text reassures children and helps them to memorize the steps of the story, so it sticks in their mind.
The short text is meant to be only a trace, a starting point that allows parents and children to play together and to enrich the story, adding further details.

Biografia  Valentina Rizzi
Valentina Rizzi è una drammaturga e teatroterapeuta. Le sue storie sono state rappresentate presso teatri, scuole ed ospedali di Roma, pubblicate da alcune tra le maggiori case editrici italiane (Feltrinelli, La coccinella, Edizioni Paoline). Il suo impegno artistico in favore dei diritti dei minori, le è valso il Premio Donna dell’Anno 2011. Nel 2013 vince un bando pubblico per raccontare storie in strada su di un tre ruote detto Bibliolibrò. Un anno dopo fonda la casa editrice Bibliolibrò e inizia a pubblicare suoi testi in Italia e all’estero. Il suo testo “Ora non più” pubblicato con la casa editrice Settenove, è un White Raven 2016.

Biography  Valentina Rizzi
Valentina Rizzi is a playwright and drama-therapist. Her stories have been performed in theatres, schools, squares and hospitals, published by some of the main important Italian Editors (Feltrinelli, La coccinella, Edizioni Paoline). In 2011, her artistic involvement for children's rights earned her Woman of the Year Award. On 2013 she wins a Public Contest to tell stories on the road with a three-wheel car named Bibliolibrò. One year later she creates Bibliolibrò’s Publisher House and she starts to publish her texts abroad. Her text “Not anymore”, illustrated by Marianna Coppo and published with Settenove Publisher, is a White Raven 2016.

Biografia  Fer Quirarte
Disegnare è il suo linguaggio innato. Artista messicano multidisciplinare e designer. Vincitore per quattro volte del "American Illustration - American Photography Latin-American Edition Contest". Giudice alle competizioni internazionali di Social Poster Design. Instancabile narratore. Il mondo del design, il potere delle immagini e la forza della parola, sono il suo territorio creativo. Il suo ambito spazia dalle pubblicazioni per bambini, la moda, diritti sociali e ogni altro aspetto dell’esperienza quotidiana. Quirarte non disdegna di passare da una tecnica all’altra. Alla fine per lui il messaggio è quello che conta. Per Bibliolibrò ha scritto ed illustrato l’albo “Il cane che mangiò la sua ombra”. Ha inoltre illustrato l’albo “Capitan Ciuccio”, scritto da Valentina Rizzi e pubbicato da Bibliolibrò. Vive ancora in Messico e ama le “pinatas” e gli aquiloni.

Biography  Fer Quirarte
Drawing is his native language. Mexican multidisciplinary artist and designer. 4 times selected winner at the “American Illustration – American Photography Latin-American Edition Contest”. Jury at international social poster design competitions. Tireless narrator. The world of design, the power of images and the forcefulness of speech are his creative territory. His scope reaches: children’s issues, humor, fashion, social issues, and everything from the day by day experiences. Quirarte has no fears to jump from one technique to another; at the end -for him- the message is what it matters. For Bibliolibrò he has written and illustrated the picturebook“ Il cane che mangiò la sua ombra”. He has also illustrated the picture book “Capitan Ciuccio”, written by Valentina Rizzi and published by Bibliolibrò. He still lives in Mexico, loving piñatas and kites.
